CLASSIFIED SUBMISSION PORTAL

Rabbit Tales

Narrative intake for unusual incidents and observations.

New Records

I'm always looking for stories that shouldn't have been forgotten. Institutions that buried their histories. Events that never quite got explained. People who disappeared quietly. Incidents that felt wrong and never made sense.

Rabbit Tales takes these records and turns them into short-form horror. I narrate them for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and anywhere else these stories fit.

My character is an easily amused and slightly off-kilter observer who loves to recount tragic or unsettling events with a detached, perspective. Think Twilight Zone or Tales From the Crypt style storytelling.

What Interests Me

I primarily like stories that are psychological or twisted. Often drawing a simile to present day. I tell the story with a sense of detached humor and as if I directly witnessed the event, or perhaps even had a partial hand in pushing things along. I like to keep things interesting, so it might have been more than a gentle hand.

Style

I don't generally like gore for its own sake but can be implied. Defintely no SA, or anything along those lines.

What works: implication, realism. uncomfortableness, psychological tension. My observations and "how things never seem to change". Stories that feel grounded in something believable.

Story Format

Write as if The Rabbit is speaking directly to the audience, recounting something he personally witnessed, experienced, or quietly influenced. The story should never read like an outside narrator telling someone else's tale. For example: "I remember the first time I met him..." rather than "He remembered the first time he met him."

Your story can be completely original. It can be inspired by historical events, folklore, true crime, or your own reinterpretation of an existing story told through my perspective.

Payment & Rights

Accepted stories are paid a $30 flat fee.

Writers keep full ownership of their work.

I only use stories that I have explicitly accepted and paid for. Payment grants me non-exclusive permission to perform, narrate, and adapt the story for Rabbit Tales video content.

Stories that are not accepted remain entirely yours and will never be used, adapted, or performed in any form.

I credit writers whenever possible through video descriptions, pinned comments, social tags, and this site. Pen names are welcome. At minimum, writers will always be credited in the description of their narrated story.
